"Wore out WAY too fast"
At first, this cutting mat seemed totally fine, but after just a few weeks it started getting deep grooves and my cuts weren’t coming out clean anymore. I was disappointed because I expected it to last longer. Definitely NOT something I’d buy again.

I ordered this on a whim and thought it would be here by now, but it’s been two weeks and I’m still waiting. Frustrating.

"So much for saving fabric"
I gave AccuQuilt a try because I thought it would make things quicker and easier, which I guess it technically does if you don’t mind watching a surprising amount of fabric turn into scraps. The cuts came out fine, so there’s that, but the leftover waste added up way faster than I expected. Maybe it works great for some people, but for me, it just wasn’t worth sacrificing that much fabric...

"Didn’t Last as Well as I Expected"
I was excited when I first got my AccuQuilt machine. The setup was straightforward, and in the beginning it cut nicely. I was mainly using it for standard quilting pieces, nothing heavy-duty or unusual.
After a few months, though, it started to feel a bit loose and began making some odd noises. The cuts also weren’t as clean as they were at first, and I found myself running fabric through more than once just to get decent results.
For the price, I really expected better long-term performance. It still works, so I wouldn’t say it’s completely useless, but I’m definitely disappointed with how quickly the durability became an issue.

"Return process was a headache"
I sent my return back and I’m still waiting on the refund... which is frustrating. I get that things can take a little time, but this has been way more of a hassle than I expected. At this point, I don’t think I’ll be ordering again

I was trying to place my order, but the site was just confusing to use and then checkout wouldn’t go through properly. I kept thinking maybe I missed something, but... yeah, it just didn’t work smoothly.

"Got the wrong item in my order"
My order showed up with the wrong item, which was frustrating. I was already having one of those days where everything felt slightly off, even my coffee tasted weird, and that usually never happens — so opening the package and seeing the wrong thing didn’t help. Not the end of the world, but definitely annoying and not what I was expecting.

"Blades got dull way too quickly"
I was disappointed with this cutter. It felt kind of cheap right out of the box, and after only a few uses the die was already giving me rough, uneven cuts. For the price, I expected it to hold up a lot better. I also never got any follow-up or response about the issue, which made the whole thing even more frustrating.

"The website is really frustrating to use"
I tried shopping on accuquilt.com, but I got frustrated quickly. The pages feel crowded, and it took way too much effort just to find basic items. The filters didn’t really narrow things down the way I expected, and a few of the menus were confusing enough that I had to keep backing out and starting over.
Checkout wasn’t much better. I ended up going back and forth through the steps, and by that point I was ready to just give up. I’m sure the products might be great, but if the site doesn’t get easier to use, I’ll probably start looking somewhere else instead.

I found the tutorials hard to follow, actually. They leave out small steps that beginners really need, and the camera angles don’t always show what’s happening clearly, so I kept having to pause, rewind, and guess what to do next.
I bought the supplies thinking the lessons would walk me through everything, but it ended up being more frustrating than helpful. Maybe someone with quilting experience would be fine, but as a beginner, I didn’t get much out of it.

"Instructions were kind of confusing"
I do like the idea of the products, and I was excited to get started, but the instructions on accuquilt.com just weren’t super clear to me. A few parts felt like they skipped over steps or were worded in a way that made me stop and think… wait, what am I supposed to do here? I ended up looking for extra videos just to piece it together. For the price, I guess I expected the guidance to be a little better. It’s not awful or anything, just frustrating when you’re ready to start a project and then you’re stuck because the directions are… yeah.

I didn’t expect this to be such a pain to put away, but it takes up way more space than I thought and feels awkward no matter where I try to store it. When I asked about it, I kind of felt talked down to, like I was the problem for not having the perfect spot for it. Overall, it’s just been more annoying to deal with than I expected

"Why are the dice options so limited?!"
I thought finding a few basic die shapes would be the easiest thing ever, but nope, apparently not. Their selection felt super limited, and I couldn’t find the simple shapes I needed, which was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. I was ready to make something cute and instead had a tiny crafting crisis...

The blade didn’t feel all that sharp right out of the package, and after just a few cuts it started dragging badly. Maybe I got one from a bad batch or something, but it definitely didn’t hold up like I was hoping

"Warranty claim was way too much work"
Trying to get help with my warranty was exhausting. I had to keep following up and explaining the same thing over and over, and it felt like they were just dodging the claim instead of actually helping. Way more effort than it should’ve been. I won’t be buying from them again...

I don’t remember it feeling this overpriced before, but this time the prices really stood out to me. For what you’re getting, it all feels basic and not really worth the cost.

"Didn’t really save me time"
I bought this from accuquilt thinking it was going to seriously cut down my quilt prep time, and at first I thought maybe it would, actually, no, it really didn’t for me. By the time I got it set up, lined up the fabric, and then had to re-cut a few pieces that came out a little wonky, it felt like I might as well have just used my ruler like usual. I can see how some people probably love it, but for me it ended up being more hassle than help.

The material itself seemed fine and the order arrived without any issues, which I appreciated. That said, a few of the pieces came out crooked, so they didn’t fit quite the way I expected. Still, the overall quality wasn’t bad, and I’d consider trying again if the cutting was more consistent next time
"Attachments didn’t line up with my cutter"
I bought these thinking they’d fit my cutter, but they just didn’t line up right. The little grooves and the spacing on the attachment were slightly off, so it wouldn’t sit flush no matter how I tried to adjust it. I double-checked the model and even tried cleaning around the connection point in case something tiny was blocking it, but nope. I reached out for help and didn’t really get a useful answer, which was frustrating.
